The Estill County Middle School Academic Team recently competed in the Governor’s Cup District 61 Competition hosted here at home.
As part of that, the team successfully earned the Quick Recall and Future Problem-Solving championship, as well as, the overall District Championship with a total of 68.5 points. This is the first time that the quick recall has made it to regions since 2022.

Engineer Families - We are aware that tomorrow morning's temperatures will be extremely cold. To help keep students safe and comfortable, we have asked our bus drivers to take the necessary time to pause and wait for students, so they do not have to stand outside in the cold while waiting for the bus. KONA Ice will be available Friday, January 9, at the Estill County Middle School. Prices will be 3,5, and 7 dollars. Please be sure to send money with your student if they plan to purchase a KONA Ice.
Estill County Schools is applying for the 21st Century Grant. This grant can provide academic, acceleration, and enrichment opportunities for students after school and during the summer. The grant could also offer educational and engagement activities to parents and families.
