Good afternoon ECMS families. This is a reminder about NTI day work. Students will have 5 school days to turn in their work and receive full credit. Students will need to have their NTI day 1 packets turned in by the end of the day on Tuesday 11/18/25. If you have any questions please call the front office or email your students teachers.

The Irvine Ravenna Kiwanis Club 2025 Annual Christmas Parade will take place on Friday, December 5th, at 7 PM.
We invite all groups, churches, schools, fire departments, businesses, and organizations to participate by entering a float, band, antique car, or other related parade unit.
Participants can enter to be judged, or if they just want to be part of the parade. The deadline to register to be judged is December 1, 2025.
Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 entries regarding Effort of Difficulty, Display of Lights, and Overall Appearance.

Or fill out a paper form by contacting a local Kiwanian or picking up a copy in the lobby of the Estill County Public Library.

The Veterans Day Assembly will be held next Tuesday on 11/18/2025. Our 6th grade students will wear Red, 7th grade students will wear white, and 8th grade students will wear Blue.
There will be no school in the Estill County School District for Tuesday, November 11, 2025, due to hazardous road conditions.
This will be NTI Day #1.





Due to the threat of inclement weather, the Estill County School District will be dismissing early today, at 12:30PM, November 10, 2025. The safety of our staff and students is our top priority.

Good Evening ECMS families! Your student was given their KSA scores from last year today during 7th period. Please check your student's backpack for those papers.
Also tomorrow is KONA ICE Day! Prices are $3.00, $5.00, and $7.00. Please send money with them tomorrow to school.

ECMS/ECHS JROTC will be hosting a Veteran's Day program on November 11th. Our students have worked very hard on this and would love support. If your student has a veteran in their life, please invite them to come and enjoy a free lunch afterward.

This is a reminder from ECMS that there is NO JROTC competitions tomorrow November 1st. Thank you.
8th Grade Students are sponsoring a dance this Thursday to help them get to Washington DC. Tickets are $5.00 and are sold during lunch till Thursday.

Trick or Treat at Hardee's

A few reminders for our ECMS families for Monday. We will have our Parent/ Teacher Conference from 5:30-7:30pm. We will provide chili for our families who attend this event. Monday will also begin our Red Ribbon Week Activities which is being brought to you by the ECMS Student Council.
Students will receive their red ribbon bracelets during first period and we encourage you to wear your
red ribbon week bracelets every day. You never know when Mr. Flynn or another staff member will
drop in with prizes for those sporting their bracelets. Monday’s theme will be “Getting Comfy without
Drugs Day.
” Everyone is encouraged to dress up in their favorite modest pajamas. Students please
remember that throughout our red ribbon week dress up days that our school dress code does still
apply.
The Mobile Dental Clinic will be at the Estill County Middle School October 24-28, 2025. Those students whose parents have completed the dental program forms will be seen during this time period. If you have any questions call 606-717-0096.
